Spotlight: G-Shock Watches

The G-Shock was the watch to have in the 90’s.  You weren’t cool unless you had a G-Shock watch.  Almost two decades later, nothing seems to have changed.  Everyone is rocking G-Shocks these day: rappers, athletes, celebs and everyone else.  I found three amazing watches among the cavalcade of watches G-Shock has in its stable.  Check out the watches after the break.

G-Shock AW591ML-1A

I love when companies put out military inspired products.  The military uses some of the coolest toys around.  The AW591ML-1A, needs a shorter name, has a black resin band with a digital and analog face. You can click on the link to see all the features.  The watch is awesome looking, like something straight out of “Call of Duty.”  I just wish that the band was nylon, like some other military watches I have seen. What do you think of the AW591ML-1A?

G900CC-1

G-Shock G900CC-1

This is the classic G-Shock that everyone is familiar with when they think G-Shock.  Everyone I have seen wearing this watch, has been wearing all kinds of crazy colors.  I will stick with the classic black and red face.  It’s much easier to match your outfit with easy, clean colors.  I still love purple and neon colors, I just think watches should be simple colors and add to the outfit. What do you think of the G900CC-1?

GW225A-1

G-Shock GW225A-1

A solar powered watch?  That’s right! The GW225A-1, nicknamed The Frogman, has gotten the 25th Anniversary treatment.  It has a black resin band with a gold face, also it’s engraved with a 25th Anniversary logo. I am not usually a fan of gold, but this watch uses very little gold and it works with the black base color. This is the most expensive of the three, ringing in at $300 dollars.  This is a great watch to buy for special occasions; promotions, graduation or even a wedding. What do you think of the Frogman 25th Anniversary.

Each watch is unique in its own special way.  They are all awesome watches and all bring something different to the table.  The best way to choose a watch is to look at all the features and figure out which one best fits your needs.  Try them on and see how they work with your style.  Talk to the salesman, I know many shoppers fear talking to sales people.  You have to understand these people work there all the time and know all the details about the items they are selling.  Trust the salesperson, but make the decision that makes sense for your style.
