Top 5 Places to Buy Discount Clothes

These are places to buy amazing items at a discounted price.  Each place must deal exclusively in discounted goods and can only sell stuff that is real. Every site is approved and safe to shop at.  Did your favorite make the list?  Check out the Top 5 after the break.

#5 –   whiskey

This site is for the extreme sports fan or even someone looking to get a good deal on a snowboard or watch.  Whiskey Militia is a sister company of Backcountry.com. It mainly deals with surf, snow and skateboarding, but all items are a discounted price.  Most items that pop up on the site are hugely discounted and most are brand names; sometimes a brand would pop up with a name I didn’t know. The one issue is the site only puts up one item at a time so you have to be on the site all the time to find something you really want.  They do offer a toolbar that sits at the bottom of you browser and update when a new item pops up. Check it out for yourself at whiskeymilitia.com

#4 –      6pm

Everyone knows Zappos.com.  They are known for carrying everything you  could want in clothing.  Shipping is always free, but they never offer a discount.  6pm is their outlet site, you get the same service and perks as Zappos, but you buying at a discounted price.  You are buying clearance essentially, so you might find a good deal but not the size you want. I have purchased from 6pm, a Nike Rockwaffle, and they have some of the best customer service around.  This site is for those people who wait until the last minute, to get the absolute lowest price. Check it out for yourself at 6pm.com

#3 -

Jack Threads is the first members only site on the list.  Members only means you have to sign up for the site and get an invite.  Everyone is accepted as long as you fill out the proper information; you have to put in your name, make a screen name, email etc..  They don’t require a fee to become a member and the only time you have to enter a credit card is when you buy an item.  The items are put up according to a schedule.  They break up the items into brands and once you click on a brand all the individual items will be available.  This means you  have to make a schedule of your own to keep track of the brands you want. Check it out for yourself at jackthreads.com

#2 - ebay

eBay is one of the biggest auction based internet sites.  eBay sells everything from cars to every little nick knacks collecting dust around your house. This site has everything a discount buyer could want; shoe, denim tees and everything in between. You want high-end rare, kicks eBay sells it.  You want expensive denim, gently worn denim eBay has it.  The other things eBay has is lots of fake items.  eBay sells fake items, only because the auction site is open to anyone with a credit card and PayPal account.  You have to watch what you buy on the site. Remember if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is no good. Check it out for yourself at eBay.com

#1 - plndr and Kazbah

The last one is a 2fer.  Karmaloop.com is one of my favorite websites, they have the most amount of great brands in one location.  They first introduced Kazbah in 2007 as a way to introduce new brands to the ever growing  marketplace.  This is a good way to get your brand noticed and sold if you are just getting started.  I know that has nothing to with discount shopping, but it’s great for up and coming designers.  The real discount site on Karmaloop is Plndr.com.  Plndr is similar to Jack Threads, as it’s a subscription based discount site.  It has a similar look and feel to Jack, but sells many different brands.  Plndr regularly has mega sales where things are heavily discounted. Check it out for yourself at plndr.com.

Discount sites aren’t my usual method of buying clothes, but sometimes you can find a gem in a pile of stones.  Each one brings something special to the table and each site has different brands.  You should visit each site and find the one that fits you the best.  What discount site do you like to shop at?  How do you feel about list? Let me know in the comments.
