adidas Originals Superstar 80s
When most people think Adidas, they think shell toes. The shell toes or Superstar were my first experience with Adidas and it was love at first sight. In the late 90's everyone was rocking this with the baggiest pants possible, it was the style then. If you did have the white superstars then you weren't anybody; the shell toes are still classic and define what it is to love shoes. If you have lived under a rock, they are called "shell toes" because of the hard toe design that has the appearance of a sea shell. These shoes are your classic white and black colorway, and they have a worn in appearance. The best feature the the gold and black accents on the tongue; just writing about these shoes makes we want them so bad. One thing Adidas does right is not mess with there classics; the know a design works and they keep it that way. So many times companies take a working product and tweak so much that it is almost unrecognizable. The Superstars are extremely comfortable and have a nice medium to wide fit. You can literally wear these all day long and not want to take them off. I would stay away from extremely skinny jeans, I think the shape would clash with such a skinny leg. Straight leg or slim jean might be a better option; unless loose jeans come back in style, straight and slim are your next best fit. I love these shoes and the good thing is the cost; these particular shoes cost $80, but if you're not feeling fancy you pick up a pair for $65. Come on people let's embrace the classic and let's rock the shell toes!
