Remember these beauties?  The adidas Originals Questar just popped up on the Originals website for sale.  The shoe retails for $125 which is reasonable for most retro shoes. This is a must have for any sneakerheads shoe collection, even the biggest fan of Nike Shoes.

Spotlight: adidas Originals Running Shoes

The adidas Originals started as a way for younger people to experience the popular shoes of the 70’s and 80’s.  It’s also a way to display their history in actual form and not just pictures.  People, like myself, crave what we once had and love to cherish past innovations.  It’s no surprise that I love vintage shoes but, I really have a thing for vintage running shoes.  I think one of the big reasons I have a thing for vintage shoes, is that when these shoes came out I didn’t have the money to buy the shoes.  So now I am making up for lost time and I can afford to purchase most of these lost souls.  Check out the rest of the story after the break.

adidas Originals ZX 380 “Ice Grey”

380 2

I am glad to see adidas joining in the old school running shoe release party.  The latest addition is the ZX 380, a sleek, slimmer version of the adidas OG releases.  These are available for pre-order at End clothing. What do you think of the OG ZX 380?  The rest of the pics after the break.

PORTER x adidas Originals 80’s Superstar

cover
What happens when take a classic adidas shoe and mix is with vintage military styling?  You get a pretty unique shoe.  Many times I have seen zippers on shoes, but it was mostly used as a gimmick.  The Porter x 80’s Superstar is designed after the MA-1 used by pilots.  The shoe is mostly black with orange lining and the zipper seems function to make a laced shoe into a slip on shoe.  I didn’t like this shoe at first glance, but after writing this I have grown to love the shoe as a whole; plus you get a sweet canvas bag for the shoes.  What do you think of the PORTER x adidas Superstar?  The rest of the pics after the break.

adidas Originals Micropacer Gore-Tex

cover
The shoe of the future is here.  adidas is well known for combining computers and running shoes.  The Micropacer is a adidas running shoe with a digital display on the shoe’s tongue. This particular shoe  is also equipped with Gore-Tex; so that means durability, water resistance and a shoe that breathes well. Look for the Micropacer Gore-Tex in March at select stores. What do you think of the Micropacer Gore-Tex? The rest of the pics after the break.

adidas Originals James Bond for David Beckham 2011

Here’s where sports active wear meets high fashion. adidas Originals is once again collaborating with James Bond and David Beckham for 2011.  This collection is all about minimalism and creating a collection for those guys who are transition to wearing high end fashion pieces. What do you think of the James Bond for David Beckham collection?  The rest of the pics after the break.

Ransom x adidas Originals Valley

cover

For those of you wondering, “what shoes am I going to wear for Easter?”  I have found the shoes for you. Ransom is a frequent adidas collaborator and they have collabed on the Valley Hi many times before this shoe.  This shoe however is one of my favorite of all the Ransom collabs.  Why is it my favorite?  It’s simple yet, the colors they chose work really well with the all white body.  They chose pastel orange and pastel green, and only put those colors on the sole of the shoe. Ransom x adidas Originals seem like a winning combination.  What do you think of the Ransom collaboration? The rest of the pics after the break.

adidas Originals Fortitude “Wood/Aerolime”

brown

I recently posted pics of the “Fortitude” sneakerboot in dark onix and Extra Butter has the same shoes in brown; well they call the colorway wood and aerolime.  I wouldn’t actually describe the color as wood because it’s a little more dark than most wood.  The color is a great color for an outdoor style shoe and the laces look great with the brown and grey base.  What do you think of the new color? The rest of the pics after the break.

It’s Trash Day adidas Originals Jeremy Scott Jumpsuit

js

It’s Friday, time to take out the trash. Jeremy Scott is known in the sneaker world for creating some of the most amazing shoes ever.  Some say they might be outlandish and Scott makes shoes you can’t regularly wear. I defend that Jeremy Scott produces art disguised as footwear and that everything he makes is amazing.  Well that was until I looked at his 2011 Lookbook and saw the outfit with the “metal holes.” The rest of the story after the break.

Spotlight: adidas Originals Blue Collection

Cover
This collection of adidas Originals clothing just popped up the internet and I was immediately excited.  I wasn’t even going to spotlight this collection, but I just love it so much.  From what I have read the fit in the clothes is a little more roomier then normal fashion these days, but that is wear fashion is headed. There are 4 items that were announced so far and even a women’s line, which I will not be posting here.  Check out the rest of the post and pics after the break.

adidas Originals Decade B-Balls NBA Colors

magic close up

If you are like me then you love your shoes, that support your favorite team, without team logos on the shoes. It’s not that I don’t love the team, but my tastes are just more simple.  Which why these shoes peaked my interests. Three new shoes has popped up on Crooked Tongues with NBA team colors but no team logos on the shoes.  The adidas Originals Decade B-Balls come in three colorways; Magic blue/black/white, Portland Maroon/Grey/Black and Knicks Orange/Blue/White. I love the Magic colorway and the Knick shoe can also be worn if you’re a fan of the Florida Gators.  What do you think of the Decade B-Balls?  Check out the pic after the break.

Diesel x adidas Originals Collection

diesel x adidas 5

This is a surprising collaboration. Only surprising because Diesel makes shoes.  They don’t make great shoes, so it kind of makes sense.  No matter what the reason, this is one awesome collab.  Diesel chose to collab on 5 different shoe; 2 mid Forums, 2 Stan Smiths and a zx700. The shoes are being offered at Diesel Flagship stores worldwide.  Diesel has added their signature rivets and is using some pretty bold color choices. My favorite so far is the zx700 in black and green and the Forum with the red strap. I am kind of surprised there was no denim covered sneakers; considering Diesel is known for denim.  What do you think of the Diesel x adidas collaboration?  More detailed pics after the break.

adidas Originals Fortitude “Dark Onix”

Fortitude 3
Winter weather can be hard on your kicks and your soul. The main problem is you want to wear your favorite sneaks but you don’t want the crappy weather to ruin your shoes.  Well, why not try a sneaker boot?  It’s the latest craze sweeping the nation. All the durability of boots and the comfort of sneakers. The adidas Originals Fortitude is one of those awesome combos. The Fortitude comes in dark onix, which is great for harsh weather because it’s hard to stain; and look how thick the outer sole, it’s like running shoe. Nice Kicks has these for sale right now for $75 and these are a must have for this season. What do you think of the Fortitude? More detailed pics after the break.

adidas Originals adi-Rise

Adi 6

More and more adidas originals are popping up these days.  I think they are trying to show Nike that adidas is still a major player.  When they drop shoes like the adi-Rise, I can definitely put my support behind them now.  The colorway is Navy/Gold in a mid rise shoe, with some patent leather.  These are available right now for around $80 @ Nick Kicks. What do you think of the new adi-Rise?  More detailed pics after the break.
