SOPHNET x Carhartt Collection “Capsule”

Sixpack France “Dust to Dust” Collection

Are you looking for a new brand of sick tees to wear?  Well look no further than France! Sixpack France has released an immense amount of tees.  There are parody tee, art tees, political tees and even weird tees.  They have releases pics of 24 tees so far and hopefully there are more coming.  I am salivating looking through all the great shirts and they are all great tees.  Some real stand outs are the “Pink Flag” and “Jazz, Poetry, Drugs” tee.  What do you think of the Sixpack France collection? Billionaire Boys Club 2011 S/S Lookbook

He makes great music and he also makes great clothes.  I’m, of course, talking about Pharrell Williams; super producer and sneaker and clothing enthusiast.  Billionaire Boys Club have dropped their 2011 collection and it’s a little out there and a little everyday wear.  I don’t recommend this collection for those with a heart condition.  What do you think of the BBC 2011 collection?  The rest of the pics after the break.

Band of Outsiders 2011 S/S Lookbook

“Look it’s Cyclops!” It’s actually James Marsden for the new Band of Outsiders2011 Spring/Summer Lookbook. He’s just having fun at the Gaylord Hotel in LA.  The best part about this lookbook is it was shot with a Polaroid Camera; it kind of gives it an overexposed, vintage look.  What do you think of the Band of Outsiders lookbook?  The rest of the pics after the break.

Norse Project 2011 Spring/Summer Lookbook

What do you do in Denmark in the Spring/Summer season?  You go to the beach of course.  That’s what Norse Project thought about when the designed their 2011 S/S line.  The collection is a mixture of jackets and shorts; which seems like a weird combination, but seems to work effortlessly.  This collection has summer in Maine feel; a walking on the beach at night with a cold breeze. Stone Island 2011 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Out of all the lookbook’s I have posted, this is the most non traditional book.  Stone Island has launched Shadow Project their latest collection.  This collection is what I imagine we will be wearing the future; non cotton fibers with lots of built in zippers pockets in neutral tones. Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

The Swedish brand Our Legacy has released their 2011  Spring/Summer Lookbook entitled “Observation.”  The collection is a call back to the styles of 1980-1981 with a modern spin. Which is only fitting because they started the company in that era. They did a great job combining the past and the present; while keeping with fit of today’s styles and fits.  What do you think of Our Legacy’s 2011 S/S Lookbook? Levi’s Chambray by Opening Ceremony

You know you going to get something special or bizarre when you use celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.  That’s exactly what Opening Ceremony’s wanted for their Levi’s collaboration.  Open Ceremony is a frequent collaborator with Levi’s and this time the have done with Japanese fabric chambray.  The collection will feature shirts, jeans and jackets with prices ranging from $175 to $300 at both Levi’s and Opening Ceremony’s online stores. Freshjive 2011 Spring Lookbook

Out of all the lookbook’s I have posted, I am more excited about this one. I rediscovered Freshjive last year and it quickly became one of my go to brands.  All the usual suspects of Spring are in the collection; short, tanks and short sleeve button ups.  The theme is River’s Edge, with a lot of photos in and around the Los Angeles reservoir.  What do you think of the Freshjive 2011 Spring Lookbook? Disney x SOPHNET

Here’s where sports active wear meets high fashion. adidas Originals is once again collaborating with James Bond and David Beckham for 2011.  This collection is all about minimalism and creating a collection for those guys who are transition to wearing high end fashion pieces. F.C. Real Bristol 2011 S/S Lookbook

What’s a good way to sell your clothing line?  Tap into the football market and create a fake football club; by football I mean soccer, not American football. F.C. Real Bristol is the third Japanese brand to drop their 2011 S/S lookbook.  F.C.R.B. is also part of SOPHNET, but they make more active clothes with help from Nike.  The line is full of active polos and rugby style shirts, but it’s the workout clothes that really shine.  Instead of hiring models to show off their line, F.C.R.B. uses mannequins.  What do you think of F.C. uniform experiment 2011 S/S Collection

Another Japanese brand is releasing their 2011 Spring and Summer collection lookbook. uniform experiment’s is an off shoot of parent company SOPHNET.  The line is their experimental take on different uniforms; school and navy uniforms.  If definitely more fashion forward line the SOPHNET, but most of it is right in line with the current style.  What do you think of uniform experiment?  The rest of the pics after the break.

2011 Kitsune Lookbook “Brokeback Mountain”

Kitsune is one of those brands that I am just discovering.  Even though winter is wrapping up and spring is on the horizon; French brand Kitsune decided it was time to drop their 2011 Fall/Winter Lookbook.  The collection is inspired by Ang Lee’s film “Brokeback Mountain.”  Well mostly inspired by 60’s west American style; a lot of workwear, heavy coats, plaid and non treated denim.  The denim is the best part; no gloss, no whiskering, just plain old fashion real man denim.  This collection is incredible and I am really excited for 2011 winter.  What do you think of the Kitsune “Brokeback Mountain” collection?
