Hurley Rubbish Peacoat
I know what your saying, everyone makes a pea coat. What makes this one special? Tell you the truth, this isn't special. It's just your classic cotton pea coat, but I fits like a denim and isn't too thick. (which is good for the hot Florida autumn) Pea coat are usually wool and heavy; used by the Navy to keep sailors worn, plus it matches their dungarees and work shirts. Ask anyone about the pea coat and they will reference the Navy. Pea coats have been a fashion staple for the better part of 3 decades, but now they are getting making a youthful presence. The coats are coming in all lengths and colors. Girls, guys and dogs can be seen strutting their stuff down the sidewalk. The Hurley Rubbish Coat is my all time favorite. A coat that most fashion experts would probably pass up or even scoff because it's not a true pea coat. This may be true, but I don't care. Florida weather does not allow us to wear our heavy coats that often and it's a lot more comfortable then most wool. The coat has a bounce and stretch, it's more lightweight and super soft to the touch. Plus, the hood is removable; this is in case you get caught in the snow or rain, just pull it out and two buttons later it's good to go.
The coat still has the double breasted buttons, like a standard pea coat. It also coming in a great light gray color, which seems to be a very popular choice this year. I almost like the gray a little more, but I am nostalgic and went with the black. I did buy mine last year, but they didn't change the coat at all. So run to your local Pac Sun (exclusively there) and get yours know; because I guarantee it will sell out before the real cold weather hits. It retails for around 90 dollars and it's already sold out on Pacsun.com. So why are you still sitting here, go now and embrace the winter weather in style!
