Hurley Norman Tees
This is my absolute favorite v-neck/crew neck tee. They are your standard pocket tee, but they come in a wide variety colors. Most standard tees, today, are just getting crazy. Companies are adding graphic and making them more translucent. Hurley has brought it back to the original, old school feel and look. Sometimes standard tees can be can be too basic and look cheap, the Norman walks the fence between high fashion and a Hanes 3-pack (closer towards high fashion). You can wear the tee dressed up or down. Let's get something straight, I am a graphic tee guy all day long; The Norman tee is the only standard shirt I will wear as a fashion piece and I wouldn't treat this like a hanes tee (gym tee). The best part about the Norman is it's a tri-blend tee (three types of fabric) putting these in the supersoft category; being a tri-blend the tee has a lot of stretch, but also runs a little small so you may want to size up.
If you aren't used to wearing v-neck or crew tees as regular tops, start with your more basic colors; white, gray, and dark gray. Once you become a seasoned veteran, move on to the mint greens, light oranges and my favorite heather red (amazing). The only place to get these wonderful creations is Pac Sun, again. This years crop were far superior to to last years tees. Put them with denim or dress pants, either way they look amazing. The best deal is at Pac Sun usually they are on the deal 2 for $15, but wait for the buy 3 get one free deal, in my opinion. Be a minimalistic and get some Norman tees in your life.
