Hectic x Mita x New Balance MT580BKX
The newest addition to most new shoes is wood grain. Lot’s of different brands have been experimenting with this pattern. Sometimes is soars and other times it falls flat, but that’s part of experimenting. New Balance partnered with Hectic and Mita on the 580 model. Their wood grain version looks great on this shoe. The mix of black/orange and white really compliment the wood grain sole. The 580 is a little bulkier than I prefer but it still has the perfect vintage running shoe look. What do you think of the New Balance collaboration? The rest of the pics after the break.

I really like the look of this shoe; it’s definitely drawing inspiration from the 90’s style. What do you think of the 998? The rest of the pics after the break.

Check out the Top 5 and see if your favorite made the list, right after the break.

J. Crew x New Balance 1400
J. Crew is known for collaborating with a plethora of brands. I have experienced their collaboration with Levi’s and it was a smash hit. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about New Balance’s collab, because sometimes shoe collabs can go wrong. Not in this case. The newest crop of New Balance 1400’s have hit J. Crew and they are perfect for that store. The 1400 is a straight forward, no frills retro shoe; which goes great with Americana style. It’s not as bulky as the 574, but maintains that retro feel. They come in 5 colors; raw steel, pine green, navy, black and rustic orange. So far my favorite is the raw steel and black. What do you think of the J. Crew x New Balance collaboration?
